A Welcome Letter to a New Daughter
Type the name exactly as you want it printed. Check the spelling before you pay — this is the part we cannot fix once the book goes to print.
A short message for the dedication page at the front. Leave it blank if you would rather not have one.

A letter to a daughter who cannot read it yet, printed and bound so that she can later.
It is written to a newborn girl across the weeks either side of her arrival — the waiting, the guessing, and the moment the room went quiet. Her name is printed through the story and again on the dedication page. Covering both the before and the after is what gives it something to say; most new-baby books start on the day itself and run out of material by the end. Hardcover.
In practice it does two jobs. It gets read out at the shower, where a book addressed to someone not yet present is a strange and effective thing, and then it goes onto the shelf for years. Nothing about it expires when she stops being a newborn.
