Personalized storybooks · Attleboro, MA
The book where their name is the one on the cover.
We've run a comic shop on Washington Street for years, handing kids stories about somebody else's adventures. These are the other kind. Type in a name, pick a cover, and we print a storybook that belongs to one child and nobody else.
Hardcover or softcover · Printed and shipped in the USA
This is a preview of the cover only. You'll enter the real name, and anything else the book asks for, on the product page before checkout.

How a Wild Time book gets made
Three steps, then it's out of your hands.
STEP 01
Pick the story
Choose a title from one of the six shelves. Each product page tells you what the book is about, which cover options it comes in, and which details you'll be asked for.
STEP 02
Enter the name
Type the child's name exactly as you want it printed, plus anything else the book asks for, on the product page. What you typed is shown in your cart and again at checkout — read it before you pay. Check the spelling; this is the part we cannot fix later.
STEP 03
We print and ship it
Your book is printed to order in the USA, usually within 2–4 business days, then shipped straight to you or to the person receiving it.
Hardcover
For the shelf
The keepsake version. Sewn hardback with a laminated jacket, made to survive being read every night for a couple of years.
- Rigid board covers
- Thick, matte-coated pages
- Dedication page printed at the front
Softcover
For the post
Same story, same personalization, lighter binding. The one most people pick when they're mailing a book to somebody else.
- Flexible laminated cover
- Cheaper to ship
- Identical interior artwork
Two questions, then you're done
Who is it for, and what's the day?
Everything on the site is tagged both ways. Pick one and we'll show you only the books that fit.

Where we are
Printed here,
posted to you
703 Washington St, Attleboro, Massachusetts. Our storefront is temporarily closed to visitors, so please don't make the trip — every order is printed to order and shipped. Email support@wildtimecomicsstories.com and you'll have an answer within a business day.
Made to order
2–4 business days
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Every book is printed after you order it, which is why production takes a few days before shipping starts.
If we get it wrong
We reprint
Misprint, damage in transit, or a name we typeset incorrectly — tell us within 30 days and we reprint it or refund you in full. Details in our refund policy.
Before you order
Questions we actually get asked
I spelled the name wrong. Can you fix it?
If the book hasn't gone to print, yes, and at no cost. Email support@wildtimecomicsstories.com with your order number as soon as you notice — we can normally catch it within about 4 hours of ordering.
If it has already printed, we'll reprint the corrected version at 50% of the original price. We can't resell a book with somebody else's name in it, so we split the loss with you.
How long until it arrives?
Printing takes 2–4 business days. After that, standard shipping runs 3–7 business days and expedited runs 2–3. So standard orders land somewhere between 5 and 11 business days from when you press buy.
Full detail, including the Christmas cut-off dates, is on our shipping policy page.
Can I return a personalized book if I change my mind?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date, and a book made out to a named person comes back on the same terms as anything else sold here. It has to come back in the condition it arrived in, with its packaging.
Return shipping is paid by you, except where the item arrived faulty or was sent in error — damaged, the wrong title, a printing error, or a name printed differently from the one you entered. Where the fault is ours we pay the return shipping, and there is no restocking fee on any return.
What's the difference between hardcover and softcover?
The story, the artwork and the personalization are identical. Hardcover (from $29.98, depending on the title) has rigid board covers and thicker pages and is the one to pick if the book is meant to survive a few years of bedtimes. Softcover (from $19.99) is flexible, lighter and cheaper to post.
What ages are these books for?
Most of the catalog sits between newborn and about age 7. The Bedtime & Early Learning and Faith shelves skew youngest; Adventure & Search-and-Find works best at 2–7. Books written to an adult — the Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa titles — are bought by grown-ups as gifts and have no age limit at all.
Can I pick it up at the shop instead of paying for shipping?
Not at the moment. Our storefront at 703 Washington St is temporarily closed to visitors, so we have withdrawn local pickup and every order is printed to order and shipped to you. Standard shipping is free on orders of $75 or more.
Where do you ship to?
Within the United States only: all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii, Washington DC, US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands), and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Delivery to territories and military addresses can take a little longer than the standard window. We don't ship internationally, and we'd rather say so up front than take an order we can't deliver.
Everything is printed in the USA, so nothing crosses a border on the way to you and there are no duties or customs charges to pay.
