These terms govern your use of wildtimecomicsstories.com and any order you place through it. Placing an order means you accept them. If something here does not work for you, please contact us before you buy rather than after.

1. Who you are dealing with

The seller is Wild Time Comics & Stories, a business operating from 703 Washington St, Attleboro, MA 02703, United States. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. "You" means the person placing the order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to order from us. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you are using belongs to you or that you have permission to use it.

3. Products are made to order

Everything in the personalised range is printed after you buy it. There is no stock. This has three consequences worth stating plainly:

A production window of 2 to 4 business days applies before anything ships.
Personalised books cannot be returned for change of mind, because they cannot be resold.
The window in which we can amend or cancel an order is short — roughly 4 hours.

4. Personalisation is your responsibility to check

We print the personalisation exactly as you enter it, including spelling, capitalisation and accents. You will see a preview before payment. Please read it. A name we print correctly from an incorrect entry is not a fault on our side, though we will still help — see the 50% reprint offer in the refund policy.

You agree not to submit personalisation text that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, threatening, or that infringes anyone's trademark or copyright. We may refuse and refund any order whose personalisation text we consider inappropriate, and we will tell you why.

5. Prices, currency and tax

All prices are in United States dollars. Prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address where we are required to collect it, and exclude shipping unless the free-shipping threshold applies.

We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical error, we will contact you before printing and either honour the correct price with your agreement or cancel and refund in full.

6. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send the confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example where we cannot verify payment, where the delivery address is outside the countries we ship to, or where the personalisation breaches clause 4. If we decline, you are refunded in full and charged nothing.

7. Delivery and risk

We ship within the United States only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays outside our control are not grounds for a refund of the product price — though we will pursue a carrier claim on your behalf and will refund in full where a parcel is lost.

8. Intellectual property

The stories, illustrations, layouts, photography and site design belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright. Buying a book buys you that copy for personal use. It does not give you the right to reproduce, scan, redistribute, or sell the artwork or text, or to create derivative works from them.

The name "Wild Time Comics & Stories" and our logo are our marks. Comics, graphic novels and manga sold in our physical shop remain the property of their respective rights holders and nothing here claims otherwise.

9. Accuracy of the site

We work to keep product descriptions, images and availability accurate. Colours shown on a screen vary between displays and will not be an exact match for printed ink. Where a description contains an error we will correct it, and where that error affected your order we will offer a refund or reprint.

10. Accounts

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping the password confidential and for activity under it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a gift not arriving in time for an occasion, where the delay was caused by a carrier or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Events outside our control

We are not in breach of these terms for delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control — carrier failure, extreme weather, power or network outage, industrial action, or a print partner's insolvency. We will tell you promptly and, where the delay is substantial, offer you a refund.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the applicable federal law of the United States. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Massachusetts. This does not remove any protection you have under the consumer law of the state where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that governs that order, so a later change cannot be applied retroactively to something you already bought.
