Before you order
- Every book is printed to order, and orders are processed within 2–4 business days before they ship.
- An order can be cancelled or changed while it is still in production, which is 2–4 business days from the order.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
Written to somebody who has not arrived yet, and printed with the name that has already been decided. That name is the only settled fact in the whole book.
It stays with the waiting itself: the guessing, the hoping, and the room slowly filling up with tiny clothes for a person nobody has met. That is a strange and specific stretch of time, and it almost never gets written down, because everything else gets recorded from the arrival onward. Softcover.
As a baby-shower gift it does the job on the day. But it reads differently a year later, in the best way — by then the guessing has an answer and the hoping has a face, and the book becomes a record of not knowing. Keep it rather than passing it on.
